Well, I got lucky Michael! I was at an art fair selling my wares; when a fashionalble, pretty red haired lady with a generous gentleman friend took a fancy to my work! She bought the cushion and several other items. They were setting up what sounded like a rather nice apartment for themselves!! I am afraid you don't get many patrons like that to the dozen!!!LOLOLOL!!!!!
Well Jacqueline' it must have been destined, both of you to be there on that day. She, so she could purchase such lovely art, and you that you could provide her with it!! I hope you took HIS business card so that you can backsell him more goodies for her!!
Thank you Sir Michael!!!!! you might be right about marketing though!! I need to do a bit more flogging of my gear!!!!!!LOL Actually I am making more of an effort lately...but you can't make folk buy stuff..unless one has Mafia connections......LOLOLOL
Don't you have a website Jacqueline? A professional such as yourself shouldn't be seen without one!
Incidentally, I have just discovered the most fantastic Canadian singer, by accident, on YouTube. I have never heard of her, and I am enthralled by the voice!! Have you heard of her? Here's a link to one of her (numerous) songs [link]
I appreciate, of course that she's possibly not your scene!!
Well Michael, I have a website where I sell my beads (The Beadzone)but it has not been updated for ages..'cause I depend on hubbie to help with the nitty gritty posting stuff..I do the pics he does the fiddle faddle..I think it is a bit more complicated because there is the selling aspect involved!!...well thats my story!!LOLO
I did look up the link!! the lady has a lovely voice!! her name seems familiar. she sure looks Celtic!! flaming red hair!!! Scots and Irish living in Manitoba if I remember correctly!! I can see why you loved her voice!! She is tip top!!!!
Great deviation, but I removed it from the "Creative Craft Challenge: Portraits" folder as it does not meet the requirements of the challenge. [link] However, I've submitted it to the textiles gallery in our club so it is still around to be viewed
OK thank you!! I am wondering by what I read on the guidelines that you are talking about a 'Collage' Technique? on fabric or paper..taking different elements and putting them together as a picture or portrait??
